New opportunities for youth: broad benefits for mortgages, education, startups

Extensive reforms aimed at supporting the younger generation are consistently continuing in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the new 'Youth — 2030' strategy, a number of important benefits and concessions are being introduced for young families, entrepreneurs, and students.
First and foremost, special attention is paid to easing the housing issue for young families. The state now aims to reduce the financial burden on youth by covering a certain portion of interest payments on mortgage loans. Within this program, at least 10,000 young families are planned to be supported annually. This opens the door to real opportunities for many young people dreaming of owning a home.
At the same time, conveniences are being created for young people planning to travel abroad. Specifically, the cancellation of state duty for obtaining international passports is envisioned for citizens who possess a B2 certificate confirming their language proficiency level. This will serve to facilitate young people's travel abroad and expand their opportunities.
To develop educational infrastructure in the regions, preferential loans of up to 300 million soums are planned to be allocated to those establishing educational centers in remote and distant areas. Through this, it is intended to deliver educational services to all regions and improve quality.
Supporting the startup ecosystem is also one of the important directions of the strategy. For new projects, network connection costs will be covered by the state, and young entrepreneurs are encouraged by allocating preferential loans of up to 206 million soums.
Great plans are also set in the field of education. Specifically, it is planned to train 20,000 young people in cooperation with leading universities worldwide. In this process, cooperation with prestigious higher education institutions such as Harvard University and Stanford University holds particular significance.
In short, the 'Youth — 2030' strategy will significantly expand youth opportunities in housing, education, and business sectors. How these opportunities are utilized now is in the hands of the youth themselves.
