Mayors replaced in Fergana: a number of positions updated

Fargʻonada hokimlar almashdi: bir qator lavozimlar yangilandi

A comprehensive personnel update has been carried out within the local executive authority system in the Fergana region. Following the Head of State's visit to the region, as well as the study and analysis of the local socio-economic situation, several city and district leaders were dismissed from their posts, and new appointments were made.

As previously reported, the leadership has also changed in the Bagʻdod district. Hojiqoʻzijon Isaqov was appointed as the hokim of this area, replacing Gʻanijon Soliyev, and was assigned new tasks. It is noted that these changes are aimed at further developing the region and increasing management efficiency.

Furthermore, an important decision was made in the Beshariq district. The current hokim, Rasuljon Joʻrayev, was relieved of his duties due to his transfer to another position. He will now serve as the hokim of the Oʻzbekiston district. This is expected to facilitate the exchange of experience through the rotation of leaders.

Ilyos Valeriyevich Novikov was confirmed as the new leader of the Beshariq district. He previously served as the hokim of the Qoʻshtepa district. However, it is known to the public that he was dismissed from his post in 2024 after being criticized for shortcomings in the field of housing construction. In this regard, there is particular interest in what results he will demonstrate in his new position.

Changes in leadership also occurred in the city of Margʻilon. Shukurulloxon Nisbatxonov was removed from the position of city hokim. During his tenure, he had been issued a disciplinary sanction—a reprimand—due to identified deficiencies in the “Yashil makon” nationwide project and preparations for the winter season. Elbek Rustamovich Rustamov was appointed as the new city hokim and is expected to resolve existing problems.

Personnel turnover was also observed in the Fargʻona district. Hamidullo Inomov was relieved of his post. Nodirjon Roʻziboyevich Mashrapov, who previously served as the head of the regional department of the Cadastre Agency, was appointed hokim in his place. This decision may be aimed at systematically resolving issues in land relations and infrastructure.

In general, these personnel changes in the Fergana region are expected to serve to increase management efficiency in the districts, promptly resolve problems, and ensure the interests of the population. The main question now is whether the newly appointed leaders will be able to justify the trust placed in them. Time will provide a clear answer to this question.
