Political scientist on the consequences of the scandal in the White House: "Europe will fall into a trap"
Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the White House, but negotiations with Donald Trump turned into a failure for him.

European countries that dare to support Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky after his clash with the US President in the White House will find themselves in a trap and on the brink of a deep economic crisis. This opinion was expressed by French political scientist Philippe de Veul in an exclusive interview with 5-tv.ru. In his opinion, the Ukrainian president under no circumstances had the right to behave as he did in Washington on February 28.

"It ends practically in a scandal. The scandal is not on the part of President Trump, but on the part of Zelensky, who behaves very badly towards his interlocutor. The least he can do is listen to what he is told. And offer what he offered in a completely reasonable way. But this did not happen, and this will go down in history," the expert said.

As is known, Zelensky reacted sharply to the proposal of US Vice President J. D. Vance to be grateful for the assistance provided by the United States during the Ukrainian conflict. After this, as well as the refusal of the agreement drawn up by the Americans, Trump entered the conversation. Then the dialogue was conducted in raised tones.

Zelensky was told of disrespect for allies, unwillingness to achieve peace, as well as obvious weakness in front of the Russian Federation without Washington's support. According to de Veul, this dialogue greatly undermines Zelensky's position at the political and international level. However, he still has defenders in the European Union (EU).

"Europe, which wants to follow him blindly, is falling into a trap. The leaders of the European Union have lost their heads from the very beginning, and I think that the people of the EU countries are against this conflict. But political systems are designed in such a way that it is difficult to achieve change and get an immediate response from the wishes of the people," the political scientist said.

As the French expert noted, Europe is acting this way due to the "incentive" ideology that has captured it. The policy of "incentive" is noticeable and manifests itself in certain symptoms, such as mass immigration, as if the authorities want to replace their own population. So far at the level of statements, but still the EU is putting itself in a catastrophic economic situation, like in Germany or France.

The French leadership has already driven the country into "monstrous public debts" that are impossible to repay, especially taking into account interest payments. De Veul concluded that at this rate of development, the European Union will face a large-scale financial crisis, which will put a strain on the European economy and will not leave room for maneuver.
