Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates believes that future generations must solve four important problems. According to him, they are of global importance, Benzinga wrote.

Gates is reportedly afraid that younger generations will face the potential threat of bioterrorism and the wrong development of artificial intelligence. He also stressed that people need to unite to fight political polarization.

“Nuclear war or very bad bioterrorism or artificial intelligence going astray or the lack of solidarity in society around polarization. These are four things, yes, the younger generation should be very afraid of these things,” he said.

Gates said he was happy that people were concerned about the problems they were facing. He added that younger generations were also concerned about climate change. He said that if people came together to solve these problems, they would have a brighter future.

Gates also said that sometimes it is necessary to exaggerate the importance of these problems to motivate action. He said he hoped that there would be progress in the fight against diseases such as Alzheimer's and HIV, as well as in completely eradicating polio and malaria.
