The country's first artificial intelligence robot police officer was tested in Nakhon Pathom province, Thailand. According to Interesting Engineering, this modern device, called AI Police Cyborg 1.0, demonstrated its capabilities in ensuring security during the Songkran holiday.
The robot is equipped with a special camera and is connected to a video surveillance system installed throughout the province. It also receives data from drones in real time, analyzes the situation on the streets, and transmits the collected data to the control center.

One of the most important features of the robot is its ability to recognize people's faces. It quickly identifies individuals who belong to dangerous groups or are wanted. In addition, the robot can analyze people's appearance, height, gender, body structure, clothing, and even their actions.
If a fight or violence breaks out in public places, AI Police Cyborg 1.0 will immediately notice this. The robot can easily distinguish dangerous objects such as knives or sticks, but it does not perceive toy water guns used for spraying water at parties as dangerous tools.
According to police representatives, this robot is a new step in ensuring security. Because the robot can constantly monitor without getting tired like humans. Its artificial intelligence is able to respond to dangerous situations in an instant.
Such a modern system is also successfully operating in China. Robots in the country communicate with people, answer their questions and assist police patrols. One of such robots in China, the PM01 model, has been in service since December last year. In March, the RT-G model from Logon Technology was tested, which can move at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
