The role of artificial intelligence in the British army is growing

According to the British Defense Minister John Healy, it is planned to actively introduce artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in order to strengthen the country's military potential and gain leadership in innovation within NATO. This is reported by The Guardian.

A new stage in military strategy

According to John Healy, artificial intelligence plays an important role in the updated defense strategy. The goal in this direction is to turn the British army into a technologically advanced and constantly updated system.

“We aim to be the most innovative force in NATO. Artificial intelligence is becoming one of the main weapons for this,” said Healy.

Tested in Estonia

According to reports, the British military is currently testing programs based on artificial intelligence in Estonia. This technology automatically analyzes threats and offers perfect weapons solutions.

More precisely, the SI system can provide decision-based recommendations in dangerous situations without the help of military specialists - this will significantly speed up the process of rapid decision-making on the battlefield.
