“Yesterday, we took the ‘bomb’ out of their hands. A tremendous military success! If they had the chance, they surely would have used it! Through yesterday’s strike, we achieved a total victory,” Trump stated.
This statement caused major discussions not only in America but also in international political circles. According to Trump, this strike ensured not only strategic superiority but also nuclear safety.
Meanwhile, Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives Thomas Massie described this military strike as an act violating the country's Constitution. Responding to this, Donald Trump said he would support Massie’s opponent in the party primaries.
It is noteworthy that in March 2025, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated in a speech that there were no current signs indicating Iran was working on developing nuclear weapons. According to her, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had not authorized the resumption of the nuclear weapons program that was halted in 2003. At the same time, Gabbard emphasized that the U.S. intelligence community is closely monitoring the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities.
