As a result of negotiations between Turkey and Syria, Ankara has come close to signing an agreement to deploy three military bases in Syrian territory. This agreement is causing significant political and military resonance in the region.
According to sources, within the framework of the new agreement, Turkish military instructors will train Syrian servicemen in modern military knowledge and practical skills, provide advice, and assist in the reform of the Syrian army. At the same time, the possibility of joint activities between the two states in air defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and military technology is also being considered.
Aydinlik notes that this agreement will inevitably impact the situation in the region. The increase in the number of Turkish troops has caused serious concern and discussions in Israel and several Arab states.
