In the coming days, it will become known whether China intends to enter a new trade war with the US, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance reported.

According to him, President Donald Trump's tools of trade pressure are much stronger than those of Beijing. At the same time, as the Vice President noted, if China approaches the issue rationally, Washington is ready to continue negotiations on a logical and pragmatic basis.

Earlier, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce strongly objected to the new US customs measures, calling it a "clear example of double standards."

According to experts, relations between the two countries in the coming weeks may determine the direction of future economic policy.
