A mass brawl involving 40 people took place in Moscow

A major incident occurred last night in the "Prokshino" residential complex in Moscow - witnesses say that shovels, sticks, and even road signs were used in a mass brawl involving dozens of people. The incident was also featured in videos and soon spread widely on social media.

According to Irina Volk, an official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, police forces arrived at the scene and took control of the situation. Currently, about 40 people have been brought to the internal affairs department. An investigation is underway to determine who was directly involved in the fight.

According to the investigation, at least four people received injuries of varying severity as a result of the conflict. Several parked cars were also damaged during the altercation.

According to TASS, the cause of the conflict is currently unknown. According to preliminary assumptions, the disagreement may have arisen from a domestic situation or a dispute between working groups in the construction sector.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, stated that foreign citizens who have not yet been sentenced to imprisonment will be deported from the country. They will be subsequently banned from entering Russian territory.

"Citizens not sentenced to imprisonment will be deported from Russia in the prescribed manner. This will also prevent them from re-entering in the future," Volk said in an official statement.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case under the article "Hooliganism" of the Russian Criminal Code. The maximum punishment under this article provides for imprisonment for up to seven years.

Moscow police are currently identifying all participants, determining the causes and initiators of the incident.
