21-year-old Czech model crowned Miss World 2025

The “Miss Earth 2025” pageant took place in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, where Natalie Pushkinova from the Czech Republic was crowned the overall winner, Critical Beauty Philippines reported.

The 21-year-old lives near Prague and studies “Marketing Communications and Public Relations” at Charles University. She has been working as a model for several years.

A total of 79 countries were represented in the final. The title of “Miss Air” went to Iceland’s Sollis Vala Ivarsdottir, “Miss Water” to Vietnam’s Chin Mi An, and “Miss Fire” to Thailand’s Wari Ngamkham. The prize for Best Look was awarded to Colombia, and for Best Evening Gown — to Cuba.

In an interview, Pushkinova revealed that she had previously suffered from anorexia, as her modeling agency pressured her to lose a dangerous amount of weight — a struggle that nearly cost her her life. She said that experience marked a turning point in her journey.

Interestingly, Pushkinova does not rule out a distant family connection to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

For reference, the “Miss Earth” competition has been held since 2001 and is considered one of the largest beauty pageants in the world, alongside “Miss Universe,” “Miss World,” and “Miss International.” Its main goal is to promote environmental awareness through beauty.

Winners later serve as environmental ambassadors around the world.
