
A bus carrying foreign tourists crashed in Thailand. The incident occurred in the mountainous province of Lampang in the north of the country, Maticon newspaper reported.
It was reported that the bus was traveling from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. At the turn of the road, the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.
A total of 38 passengers were on the bus, all of whom were foreign citizens - mainly tourists from Arab countries.
As a result of the accident, 12 people were injured, two of whom were hospitalized in serious condition. Local doctors are fighting for their lives.
According to the police, the causes of the incident are currently being investigated. According to preliminary estimates, the slippery condition of the road or the driver's fatigue could be one of the causes of the tragedy.
Thai authorities have dispatched emergency medical and rescue teams to the scene. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
