According to police, the 31-year-old blogger was found dead on November 2nd in his home in the Lapa district of São Paulo. Traces of injuries were observed on his body - especially on the face and shoulders. The person who reported the death to the police was a 51-year-old state attorney who claimed to have been with Barbara that day. According to him, they spent time together and used drugs. Yankavski fell asleep and didn't wake up. Although an ambulance was called, the doctors did not manage to save his life.
Currently, the investigation is being conducted on suspicious death. The lawyer has been questioned as a witness for now, but the investigation is not yet complete.

Police reported that there was another woman in the house who gave testimony to the investigators. He believes that Barbara may have injured her eye when she fell, but this testimony has not yet been confirmed.
Barbara Yankawski is considered one of Brazil's most popular aesthetic bloggers. He has undergone a total of 27 plastic surgeries in recent years, spending approximately $55,000 on these procedures. Her main goal was to create "ideal beauty, distinct from human appearance." Yankawski had 55,000 followers on Instagram and hundreds of thousands on TikTok. She has participated in numerous advertising campaigns and beauty show projects.
In recent weeks, the blogger's condition has caused concern among fans - she posted videos of her reddened eyes after plastic surgery and wrote that "the scars are barely noticeable."

Barbara's death worried not only her fans but also the medical community. Experts note that excessive promotion of aesthetic surgery has a negative impact on the psyche of people, especially the younger generation. This situation has led to discussions on social media about idealized pressures on the human body, psychological discomfort, and dangerous beauty standards.
The investigation is currently proceeding in several directions - police are analyzing autopsy results, telephone correspondence, and testimonies from suspicious individuals. Officials stated they would announce the results in the coming days.
