Children in Gaza collecting garbage to light fires

The crisis caused by the war in the Al-Magazi camp in Gaza is turning into a human tragedy. Many children living in the camp are forced to search daily for cardboard, plastic, and wood among the rubble and garbage. The materials they collect are used to light fires for the daily needs of families - food preparation.

Due to the cessation of gas supply to the region, thousands of families faced food shortages. As a result, it has become commonplace to involve children in hard labor while the temperature is decreasing.

Local residents call this a human tragedy. Children have lost not only school, but also childhood. For them, the simplest life conveniences have become a dream.
