
A bus carrying 54 Uzbek nationals involved in an accident in Kazakhstan
On November 30, 2025, at 9:00 PM, a passenger bus operating along the “Russian Federation – Aktobe – Kyzylorda – Almaty” route met with a road accident in Aktobe region, Kazakhstan, while en route from Moscow to Tashkent.
According to information provided by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau, there were 54 Uzbek nationals on board at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. All passengers were promptly relocated to a mosque in Qorabutoq village, located in Aitekebi district of Aktobe region, where they received necessary assistance.
The situation has been taken under control by the Embassy and Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, which have established constant communication with the relevant authorities in Kazakhstan. Measures are being taken to ensure the swift return of the passengers to Uzbekistan.
