Two of our compatriots died in the accident of a leaning bus in Aktobe

A serious road accident in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan also affected the lives of citizens of Uzbekistan. According to official data, a major accident occurred on December 7 around 08:57 on the 1028th kilometer of the republican highway passing through the Aytekebi district.

A passenger bus Yutong, traveling on the Perm - Tashkent route, for some reason lost control and overturned onto the side of the road. It is reported that there were 49 passengers on the bus.

As a result of the crash, five people died. Unfortunately, two citizens of Uzbekistan are among them. The remaining passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, a special working group has been created, and in cooperation with local authorities, all necessary measures are being taken to repatriate our deceased compatriots and organize funeral events. Also, employees of the ministry are in constant contact with Kazakhstani colleagues and are carrying out joint work to study the exact causes of the accident.

The tragedy offended the entire public. Passenger health, safety requirements on international routes, and technical condition monitoring have once again become pressing topics.
