
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has issued an official statement regarding the tragic incident that occurred in the Russian Federation. In particular, a note of protest was sent to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Tajikistan, Semyon Grigoriev, regarding the death of a 10-year-old Tajik citizen.
According to the official statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, this horrific incident occurred on December 16, 2025, in the village of Gorky-2 of the Odintsevo urban district of the Moscow region of the Russian Federation. It was reported that a minor citizen of Tajikistan, Qobiljon Aliyev, who studied in the 4th grade of the Uspenskaya secondary school, became a victim of an attack based on ethnic hatred. Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, the child died at the scene.
This situation was strongly condemned by Tajikistan. After the incident, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tajikistan was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and presented with an official note. Through this note, Russia strongly demanded an immediate, impartial, and comprehensive investigation of the crime, as well as bringing the perpetrators to justice in accordance with current legislation.
At the same time, it was reported that the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation has taken the investigation of this criminal case under constant control. The embassy also sent an official appeal to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan expressed deep condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased child and once again emphasized that ensuring the rights, security and inviolability of Tajik citizens abroad is a priority task of state policy. The Ministry expressed hope that the competent authorities of the Russian Federation will conduct a full, transparent, and fair investigation of this tragic event.
