Mexico City earthquake: 12 citizens injured

As a result of an earthquake that struck Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, 12 people sustained injuries of varying severity. This was officially reported by the city’s mayor, Clara Brugada.
According to her, the emergency response protocol was activated following the earthquake, and as a result, 12 injury cases were recorded. In addition, five power poles and four trees collapsed in various parts of the city, and 18 reports were received regarding disruptions to the electricity supply.
The city leader noted that relevant services are currently continuing to assess the consequences of the earthquake. In particular, the condition of residential and administrative buildings, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, is being carefully inspected.
