Internet almost stopped in Iran: 12-hour outage

Serious internet outages have been ongoing in Iran for at least 12 hours. This was reported by NetBlocks, an international internet monitoring service.
According to the organization's report, internet connectivity in the country has dropped sharply, and the network speed has fallen by about 1% compared to normal indicators. In practice, this means that Iran is almost completely disconnected from the internet.
It is noted that Iranian officials have not yet made any official comments on the reasons for these outages. Also, there were no prior warnings about planned internet restrictions.
