New information about real estate owned by the family of the head of Chechnya has sparked intense public debate. Based on leaked official registry documents, it has been reported that expensive houses located in the center of Grozny city are registered in the names of the leader’s underage sons.
According to the information, a luxury house with a total area exceeding 2,000 square meters, as well as a land plot of 4,000 square meters, is registered in the name of Abdulla, the 9-year-old son of the head of Chechnya. The value of this real estate is estimated at approximately 800 million rubles, which exceeds 10 million US dollars. It is reported that the property is located just 300 meters from the leader’s residence.
It is noted that initially the land plot and the house were leased by the leader himself, after which the property was transferred to his son’s name. In 2023, when Abdulla was 7 years old, the property was privatized. However, analysts believe that the child did not have independent financial means to purchase real estate of such value.
Registry data also indicate that in the same area there is an expensive house and land plot registered in the name of another son of the leader — 19-year-old Ali. The value of this property is estimated at approximately 500 million rubles. It is reported that Ali purchased this house in February 2024.
In addition, it is stated that another son of the leader, 18-year-old Adam, owns a luxury four-story house with an area of 2,000 square meters located in the center of Grozny. The market value of this property is estimated at approximately 750 million rubles.
Media outlets note that this information raises new questions in society regarding the financial capabilities of the leader’s family and issues related to their real estate holdings.
