The long distance from Spain to France is difficult for a person, but a real miracle for a cat. But Philou did exactly that: he traveled about 250 kilometers and returned to his home, France. This was reported by France Info.
It has been reported that Filo's owners, Evelyn and Patrick Sir, traveled to Spain with their children for vacation in the summer. After the end of the vacation, the family set off in August of last year to return to the Olonzak commune where they live.
On the way, they stopped at a gas station. At that moment, Filo somehow got out of the car. The most painful thing is that the family didn't notice this situation immediately. Only later, when they had gone quite far along the way, did they find out that the cat wasn't there.
They hurried back to the stopped gas station. But even there, there was no sign of Philus. The search was unsuccessful, and the family returned home with the heavy feeling that the cat was missing.
Five whole months passed. There was no news. But unexpectedly, a woman named Helen from the Olonzak commune called the family.
The woman said that on December 9, she saw Filu in her yard and, feeling sorry for him, took him to her house and began to take care of him. The cat feeds here and finds shelter.
One day, Helene noticed that Filou was coughing and took him to a veterinarian. During the inspection, specialists discovered that the cat had a special chip. Through the information on the chip, the contacts of the owners came out, and Helen contacted Evelyn and Patrick.
Thus, Filo, who was thought to have disappeared, returned home.
The most interesting aspect is how the cat covered 250 kilometers, which remains a mystery. There is no precise information about whether he found the road alone, got caught in some vehicle, or if people helped him.
