Kazakhstani comedian Nurlan Saburov's entry into Russia was closed for 50 years

On February 6, a news that caused a great resonance spread around Nurlan Saburov: it is said that entry into Russian territory is banned for a period of 50 years. RIA Novosti wrote about this, citing a source close to law enforcement agencies, and a number of Telegram channels also spread similar information.
The source notes that "the ban was introduced in the interests of the country's national security, compliance with legislation, and the protection of traditional spiritual and moral values." It is also reported that the decision came into force on January 30.
According to the Telegram channels, the comedian flew from the UAE to Moscow for commercial filming on the night of February 6 and was taken to a separate room during passport control at Vnukovo Airport. It is said that he was presented with a document prohibiting entry there.
The reports also mention such details: he allegedly asked for an interpreter, saying that he "didn't know Russian," and said that he had no money to buy a return ticket. It was also written that funds were found for a flight ticket to Kazakhstan when the issue of forced return to Dubai was discussed. It should not be forgotten that all this is not an official statement, but details provided by telegram channels.
Recall that in May 2025, the media also wrote that Saburov was detained at Sheremetyevo Airport for violating migration rules (exceeding the period of stay in the country), was fined 5,000 rubles, and was given two weeks for voluntary departure.
Saburov is widely known in Russia in the stand-up genre, also known as the host of the show "What Was Next?." In the spring of 2022, various sources reported that his concerts in the US and Israel were canceled, citing public reaction to the war against Ukraine as the reason.
There are also disputes in another direction: in some reports cited by TASS, there are interpretations that the objection is connected not with "criticizing the war," but with claims regarding migration-tax rules and financial issues (such as property, income formalization). It's important to understand that this isn't an accusation yet, but rather claims brought by sources.
In short, this event is more like a harsh signal on a legal-administrative topic than a creative "scandal." Now the main question is the legal details of the decision and the next steps: will there be an appeal or will this history be "paused" here.
