Jeffrey Epstein case: New allegations against Trump announced

The US Department of Justice has released previously classified FBI documents regarding the case of financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These materials include serious allegations made by a woman against Donald Trump. Reports zamon.uz.

According to Reuters, documents released on March 5 detail interviews conducted in 2019. An unnamed woman claims that in the 1980s, between the ages of 13 and 15, Epstein introduced her to Trump and that Trump attempted to force her into sexual acts at that time. In previous investigations, the woman had stated she was only abused by Epstein himself.

The White House press office rejected these allegations as completely baseless and lacking any credible evidence. The Department of Justice also warned that claims in parts of the documents might be dubious and sensationalist. It is noted that these documents were archived as they were previously deemed redundant.

The release of this information is currently viewed as a result of pressure from the US Congress. Representatives of the Democratic Party have accused the Trump administration of hiding important materials related to the president. Previously, Jeffrey Epstein was charged in 2008 with soliciting minors and died in prison in 2019. His associate Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
