In the Maltepe district of Istanbul, the cause of the death of a 36-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, Khurriyat Tursunbayeva, who has been missing since 2019, was identified as a victim of a murder. According to the investigative authorities, she was made a victim of the crime by her husband, 37-year-old Ersin Y., and her body was surprisingly dissected.
This incident was revealed mainly during the review of the case of various missing persons. The police formed a special investigative team and questioned the woman's relatives and neighbors. Neighbors and local residents did not understand that the Uzbek woman left Turkey, but noted that unpleasant odors came from the house.
During the investigation, no documents or information were found regarding the woman's official departure from Turkey. It was also established that telephone communications were active within the country at that time.
During a special examination conducted on the basis of a prosecutor's order, traces of blood were found in the kitchen and balcony of the house. This situation led to attention being drawn to the main suspect - the woman's husband and his acquaintance.
During the interrogation, the main suspect admitted that he beat Hurriyat to death during a quarrel. According to him, the body was first taken to the balcony, sand and lime were used to eliminate the smell. Then attempts were made to eliminate the traces by dissecting the body and throwing it in the trash.
The second suspect stated that he was unaware of the murder and only consented to the use of personal data.
After the completion of the investigation, the documents collected against both suspects were submitted to the court. This murder incident serves as a serious warning for both Uzbeks and the international community, further clarifying various personal security issues.
