One of the influential Western publications, Politico, published a material about top-secret negotiations between representatives of Russia and the USA on the Iranian issue. According to reports, the Kremlin offered Washington an unexpected agreement on the exchange of intelligence.
What was on the negotiating table?
According to media reports, a meeting was held last week in Miami between the special representative of the Russian president, Kirill Dmitriev, and Donald Trump's trusted representatives, Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner.
- Russian proposal: Moscow is said to undertake to stop providing Iran with precise coordinates and satellite images of US military facilities.
- The US condition: In return, Washington had to stop providing intelligence to Ukraine.
However, Trump's representatives rejected this agreement, which was intended to abandon support for Ukraine.
