The White House announced the conditions for the start of peace talks with Iran

Against the backdrop of intense clashes in the Middle East, the world's attention is focused on possible peace plans between Washington and Tehran. Reports have emerged that the Donald Trump administration is seeking ways to end the war and establish peace. Zamin.uz provides details of the strict conditions that the US is imposing on Iran and the diplomatic games behind the scenes.
The US presidential administration has begun preliminary discussions on ending the conflict with Iran. According to Axios, Washington is placing six main demands on Tehran. Without fulfilling these conditions, it is considered impossible to extinguish the flames of war.
Washington's "six" requirement:
The USA intends to limit Iran's influence not only militarily, but also regionally:
- Nuclear restriction: The complete cessation of all work on uranium enrichment and nuclear weapons.
- Missile program: Significant reduction in the development of missile systems.
- Application of groups: refusal to finance armed formations such as Hezbollah and Houthis.
- Maritime routes: Full opening of the Strait of Hormuz for international navigation.
Compensation or frozen funds?
One of the most sensitive points in the negotiations is the financial issue. The Iranian side is demanding "reparation" (compensation) for the damage caused by the war. US officials prefer to call this the "return of frozen assets."
- Egypt and Qatar mediation: Representatives of Qatar and Egypt conveyed to Washington that Tehran is interested in dialogue.
- Guarantees: Iran demands international guarantees against the resumption of hostilities.
Who will be the mediator?
The Trump team is currently working on identifying real decision-makers in Tehran. Due to distrust in the previously mediated Sultanate of Oman, the US is favoring Qatar's candidacy. However, official Doha wants to limit itself to "helping behind the scenes."
When will the war end?
Although Donald Trump said he was considering the possibility of stopping the war, military analysts predict that the fighting will continue for at least another two to three weeks. Currently, there is an active exchange of messages between the two sides through the United Kingdom, Egypt, and Qatar.
Dear readers, in your opinion, will Iran agree to such strict conditions of the USA? Do you believe that true peace will be established in the Middle East?
