Errol Musk, the father of American entrepreneur Elon Musk, said in an interview with RIA Novosti that, in his opinion, financier Jeffrey Epstein is still alive.
"He is definitely alive. Epstein is not dead. There is no doubt about it. I mean, there is not even a small chance that he is dead," Musk said.
He also questioned the official information about Epstein's death and drew attention to the circumstances under which his body was found. According to Musk, the surveillance cameras were turned off at the time of the incident, and the prison guards were sleeping.
According to the US Department of Justice, the 62-second time interval from 23:58:58 to 00:00:00 is missing from the surveillance camera recording in the prison where Epstein was held. This is explained by the fact that the old video surveillance system is automatically restarted every day.
In 2019, Epstein was charged in the US with trafficking minors for the purpose of sexual exploitation and conspiracy to engage in such activities. He died at the end of July of that year. According to the results of the investigation, US authorities concluded that Epstein committed suicide.
