Today, April 8, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced the cessation of strikes on Iranian territory. At the same time, it was announced that military operations against the Hezbollah group in the territory of Lebanon will continue.
According to an official statement released by the IDF press service, the decision was made on the instructions of the political leadership. According to him, although the Israeli side has ceased fire in the Iranian direction, it is ready to immediately respond to any threats or violations.
Furthermore, targeted ground operations against Hezbollah are consistently continuing in Lebanon. It was also noted that the military is constantly analyzing the situation, and additional measures will be taken if necessary.
The rear command is maintaining constant control over the security situation. It has been stated that any updates regarding defense measures will be promptly communicated to the public.
Citizens of the country are also advised to strictly follow official instructions and not to relax precautions.
