Was the "Easter Truce" broken? The parties are blaming each other

Although the "Easter Truce" declared between Ukraine and Russia has officially entered into force, there were reports that it was violated as soon as it began. The ceasefire was scheduled to last until the end of April 12.
Initially, it was said that this temporary agreement was introduced to de-escalate the situation in the war zones and allow the civilian population to take a short breath. However, soon after, the parties came out with mutual accusations.
According to Ukrainian media, Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Kharkiv. On the contrary, Russian media claim that the Ukrainian side struck the territory of Novoy Kakhovka.
Thus, both sides accuse each other of failing to comply with the terms of the armistice. This indicates that the short-term peace initiative remains ineffective in practice.
According to analysts, such a situation once again demonstrates the low level of trust between the two parties and how difficult it is to maintain a truce in the context of ongoing military actions.
Although a clear assessment of the situation has not yet been provided at the official level, tensions in the region persist, and the fate of the "Easter Truce" remains uncertain.
