Lech Walesa: "My pension is not enough," the former president complained

Former Polish President Lech Walesa expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that the amount of the pension is insufficient. He spoke about this in an interview with the O2 publication.
Walesa, who led the country from 1990 to 1995, currently receives a presidential pension. This payment is equivalent to 75% of the current head of state's salary, which is approximately $3,770 per month.
The former president said that if his pension were sufficient, he would rest and live a peaceful life. "If everything were enough, I would go mushroom picking or fishing." But even now I have to work, I travel around the world and work," he says.
Walesa noted that a large portion of her pension is spent on daily expenses, medical services, and continuing her professional career.
He also stated that although he is entitled to another pension, he is not using it for fundamental reasons. "I haven't received this pension for 20 years." Not a penny. Because Poland is still poor," the former president added.
