Pentagon allocates $24 million for Phantom combat robots

The US Department of Defense has signed a $24 million contract with Foundation Future Industries for the production of high-performance humanoid robots named Phantom. This was reported by FOX Business, citing sources in Washington. Inform.kz reports on this.
This startup, which specializes in the production of powerful robots on a global scale, is supported by Eric Trump, the son of the US President. The primary goal of the project is to achieve superiority in competition with China in the field of technology.
The combat machine is designed to infiltrate enemy facilities and save the lives of American soldiers. Company head Sanket Patxak and strategy advisor Eric Trump emphasized that this technology will ensure US superiority on the battlefield.
According to Patxak, China is also currently actively working on similar technologies in the direction of ground and air autonomy. Eric Trump stated that he has seen the robots in action and believes they will fundamentally change the course of military operations.
The Phantom robot weighs 79 kilograms and can move at a speed of 1.7 meters per second. It is planned to use this technology not only in the defense sector but also in construction and disaster relief efforts.
