Chinese people are no longer the shortest nation in the world

In recent years, a significant increase in the height of adolescents has been recorded in China. This was reported in a study published by the prestigious scientific journal The Lancet.
According to the researchers' analysis, China has demonstrated one of the highest rates of adolescent height growth among more than 200 countries over the past few decades. This indicates that the country is moving away from the previously held perception of being "one of the shortest nations."
Experts attribute these positive changes primarily to the rise in the population's standard of living. In particular, improvements in the nutrition of children and adolescents, the quality of medical services, and the development of living conditions have had a strong impact on their physical growth.
The study emphasizes that healthy and balanced nutrition, the consumption of products rich in vitamins and microelements, and regular medical check-ups have played a decisive role in the development of adolescents.
Furthermore, the urbanization process and reforms in the education system are also noted as factors that have had a positive impact on the health of the younger generation.
According to experts, these changes in China clearly demonstrate not only achievements in the healthcare sector but also the country's socio-economic progress.
