Man dies after altercation with Uzbek citizen in Russia: Uzbek national charged

A dispute in the Leningrad region, located near St. Petersburg, Russia, has ended in death. A criminal charge has been filed against a 31-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the evening of April 25 in the village of Sverdlov. Following a physical altercation between two men, one fled the scene, while the other was left motionless on the ground.
Medical personnel who arrived at the scene confirmed the victim's death. He was later identified as a 45-year-old resident of the Tver region. Injuries were noted on his body, specifically in the head area.
Investigative authorities have classified the case as the infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in death by negligence. The suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter in the same area. It was reported that he is a 31-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan who did not have official employment.
According to preliminary information, the conflict between the two individuals arose from personal matters, specifically involving a woman.
