US imposes sanctions on those aiding Iranian military

The US Department of the Treasury has imposed sanctions on 10 individuals and companies accused of helping supply weapons and technology to the Iranian military. This was announced by the department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.

According to reports, the restrictions target individuals and organizations operating in the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Washington accuses them of participating in the supply of weapons and the delivery of raw materials necessary for Iran's Shahed-series drones and ballistic missile program.

The sanctions list includes companies registered in China, Hong Kong, and the UAE, as well as citizens of Belarus, Iran, and China. The US side states that through these restrictions, it aims to increase pressure on Iran's military supply networks.
