A proposal has been put forward in the US to issue a new $250 banknote featuring a portrait of Donald Trump. This initiative is planned to be dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the country's independence.
According to reports, the banknote may feature the US flag colors and a special anniversary emblem alongside Donald Trump's portrait. The design is said to have been created by British artist Ian Alexander.
Some sources also report that the mock-ups for this project have been approved by Trump, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
If the banknote is issued, Trump could become one of the first people to have their portrait on US currency while still alive.
