Leapmotor test to be repeated with participation of Chinese experts

The restriction on the import of passenger cars under the Leapmotor brand in Uzbekistan will be reviewed. This was reported by the press service of the Inspection for Supervision in the Field of Technical Regulation.

According to the inspection, negotiations are ongoing on the restriction imposed on the Leapmotor enterprise. Specialists from this company are scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in the coming days. Product testing will be re-conducted with their participation.

It was reported that Uzbekistan has stopped accepting applications for certification of passenger cars under the Chinese Leapmotor brand. The reason for this was the identified defect in the C16 car of this brand.

The Inspection for Supervision in the Field of Technical Regulation reported that the level of electromagnetic noise generated by this vehicle is 16 times higher than the permissible limit.
