President announces new Damas model

The president has announced an updated model of the Damas, reported Nova24.uz.
A new vehicle will be produced at the car factory in the Tuproqqal’a district of Khorezm Region, where Damas and Labo models are currently manufactured. This was revealed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a regional development meeting.

The project involves a $100 million investment to produce affordable and in-demand vehicles. The new Damas will feature seven seats and comply with the Euro-5 environmental standard.

Authorities have been instructed to finalize negotiations with partners by the end of this year, begin semi-knockdown assembly in 2026, and achieve a full production cycle with 50% localization by 2027. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
