China tops Uzbekistan's car import list

In the first quarter of 2025, China became the leading supplier of passenger cars to Uzbekistan, reports uz.kursiv.media. Uzbekistan imported 5,200 passenger cars from China. Additionally, over 1,400 vehicles were imported from South Korea and 144 from India.

As of early April this year, the total volume of imported passenger cars exceeded 6,900 units, with a total value of $115.1 million.

It is worth noting that in March 2025, 65,000 passenger cars were sold in Uzbekistan, marking a 32.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
