Demand for RAM pickups in Russia surges: Sales volume grew by 121 percent

Interest in American pickup trucks has increased significantly in the Russian automotive market. During the first four months of this year, 892 new RAM vehicles were registered. This is 121 percent more than in the same period last year (403 units). This is reported by Ixbt.com .

According to Sergey Tselikov, head of the Autostat agency, the primary demand was for the RAM 1500 model. During the reporting period, 877 units of this model were sold, while the remaining 15 registrations accounted for the heavier-duty RAM 2500 pickup.

Currently, RAM vehicles are being imported into Russia through alternative channels. Despite the suspension of official deliveries, the vehicles are primarily supplied via parallel import schemes through the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.

Experts note that the RAM 1500 is replacing SUVs in the premium segment due to its power and luxurious interior. This trend shows that demand for high-end vehicles remains strong in the Russian market even in the absence of official Western brand representations.
