The series "Wednesday" will have a third season, Kursiv.uz reported. The show’s creator, Tim Burton, revealed this in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. At the same time, the first part of the second season will premiere on Netflix on August 8.
Director Tim Burton said: “I had never worked in television before, so the idea of being involved in a longer project attracted me. And she herself (Wednesday) is an interesting character.”
Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams, noted she has become even more attached to her character. The actress added that the second season will be more ambitious, and the cast will include Steve Buscemi.
Burton and Ortega also mentioned that Netflix is considering creating a "Wednesday" spin-off. Talks are currently at an early stage.
"Wednesday" is a mystical series on Netflix created by Tim Burton. The main character is Wednesday Addams, a girl from the Addams family, who enrolls at Nevermore Academy for teenagers with special abilities. There, she investigates a series of mysterious murders and uncovers her family’s secrets.
