A major event is expected in the life of the capital — on August 7, the "Bunyodkor" stadium located in the Chilanzar district will host a concert by one of the world’s most famous pop stars, Jennifer Lopez. In connection with this event, it has become known that the movement of vehicles on some major streets will be temporarily completely restricted.
According to official information, on Thursday, August 7, from 12:00 to 23:00, traffic will be completely stopped on the following routes:
- From the intersection of Chupon-ota – Katortol streets, along Chupon-ota street, up to the intersection of Chupon-ota and Chilanzar streets;
- From the intersection of Chilanzar – Chupon-ota streets, along Chilanzar street, up to the intersection of Chilanzar – KHAI streets;
- The second category of Bunyodkor street — from KHAI to Chupon-ota street.
The Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, Road Safety Department, strongly recommends drivers to use detour and adjacent streets during movement. These restrictions have been introduced to ensure safety and regulate traffic flow at the Jennifer Lopez concert.
This news is very important for drivers and city guests — plan your route correctly, especially if you intend to travel in this area, choose alternative roads. Speed in the city center may decrease and traffic congestion may increase.
