It has become known that a documentary film is being made about one of the world’s most famous rock icons — Ozzy Osbourne. The British TV channel BBC is working on a project titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Returning Home”. This was reported by the Pravilamag website.
The film tells about the final years of the “Prince of Darkness” and his personal tragedies. Osbourne’s wife Sharon and his children Jack and Kelly are actively participating in the project.
The idea to create the film first emerged in 2022. At that time, the project was planned as a 10-episode series — a continuation of the popular reality show “The Osbournes”, which aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005. However, later it was reformatted into a documentary film. The exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
The film is being produced by Expectation, known for the Clarkson’s Farm project, and JOKS Productions Limited. The finale of the film is dedicated to one of the most impactful events in Ozzy’s career — the final concert of the band Black Sabbath, which took place at Villa Park stadium in Birmingham and lasted more than ten hours.
It is known that Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 due to a myocardial infarction. The farewell ceremony took place in his hometown of Birmingham, attended by family members, friends, celebrities, and thousands of fans. During the event, legendary tracks by Black Sabbath were played.
