Eda Ece is currently one of Turkey’s most famous actresses and is slowly gaining international recognition. She was born on June 20, 1990, in Istanbul as the youngest child in her family. She first graduated from Şişli Terakki High School and later studied psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University.
Her acting career began in 2002 with a small role in the TV series "Mihriban." She later appeared in productions such as "Hayat Bilgisi," "Bez Bebek," and "Adını Feriha Koydum."
Her first major success in a leading role was in "Pis Yedili" (2011–2014), where she gained wide attention with the character “Cimbom.”
Between 2018 and 2023, she starred as Yıldız Yılmaz in the series "Yasak Elma" (Forbidden Apple), which achieved huge popularity both in Turkey and abroad. For this role, Eda Ece received the Murex d’Or award as "Best Turkish Actress."
In 2013, she played her first leading role in cinema with the film "Kızım İçin." In the following years, she also successfully took part in comedy and parody projects such as "Kocan Kadar Konuş" and "Deliha 2."
In April 2024, it was reported that she welcomed her first child.
She is also currently appearing as a host in the show “Kapımdaki Dedektif.”
