Hollywood actor Tom Holland, known as a hero in the Marvel universe, openly spoke about the diagnoses he received. According to him, he has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia.
“I have ADHD and dyslexia. Sometimes, when someone gives me a blank sheet of paper, it feels very frightening to me. Working on a character is not always easy,” the actor told Entertainment Weekly.
Nevertheless, he emphasized that such difficulties do not hinder his professional career:
“Whether you are young or an adult, any circumstance that forces you to think creatively, search and create something new — that is a positive thing. I think the more we do it, the better it is,” he added.
Holland first learned about his dyslexia in childhood. “My dyslexia is mostly about spelling problems,” he said in July 2023 on the On Purpose podcast. However, thanks to his parents’ support, the actor managed to overcome these challenges.
