The granddaughter of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and famous blogger Maryam Tillayeva and her lover Arno Kosyan gave an interview to the YouTube channel UzCast.
- Mariam and Arno, tell me how you met.
Arno: We met on January 2nd after New Year's at a restaurant in the French mountain resort of Krushevel. When I entered the restaurant with my friend, Maryam was sitting there too.
Maryam: At first, I thought he was shy, because that's how his appearance made an impression. Then we talked, became friends, and went skiing together. On the third day, my friends said: "Masha, it seems he's fallen in love with you." One day she openly expressed her feelings for me, and that's how our relationship began.
- Arno, what field do you work in and what do you do?
"I'm not working yet." This year I graduated from the institute and began my master's studies. My specialization is international economics. In my life, I haven't passed any exams with money. In Moscow, this situation is very rare. I earn money by helping others during the session, and my close friend and I also started a clothing brand.
- Mariam, you are a few years older than Arno. Is there a noticeable age difference?
Arno: Yes, of course. Masha doesn't look 25 years old and acts like a 15-year-old girl.
Maryam: Arno sometimes looks like a 10-year-old child, and sometimes like a 50-year-old man, depending on the situation and mood.
- Arno, how did you ask for her hand? Was it planned?
- I thought about throwing the ring seven times in four days. Since there were three quarrels on the plane, and then on the boat, I came to the same conclusion. Then he took her hand and said: "Come, I'll show you something. If you don't like it, you can go," and I proposed to her. At first, he didn't understand, then his eyes welled up with tears and he said: "I agree."
- Who will be invited to the wedding?
"Everyone is invited." I grew up expecting a family with simple and healthy relationships. I'm very happy to meet Arno, our children don't see family quarrels. There will be communication and mutual respect.
- Can you tell me about the most ridiculous rumors?
Arno: There's a lot of talk about us. For example, the rumors that I am "alphonse." Or there are false claims that I am under the influence of drugs. In my youth, I was poisoned by the drug, and after that, my eye expression changed, which is why some people think wrongly. I just have attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder.
- What are your future wishes?
Arno: I hope you haven't stopped doing sports, and you've grown taller than Maryam.
Maryam: I hope I've gotten rid of my quick temper, and our children will be healthy.
