The final season of "The Witcher" has finished filming

The production of Netflix’s popular project The Witcher has officially come to an end. According to Redanian Intelligence, the final scenes were filmed at Longcross Studios.

Producers and actors welcomed this milestone with great excitement. In the coming days, many social media posts from the cast and crew are expected. The fourth season is scheduled to premiere on October 30, 2025, while the fifth season is planned for 2026.

It is worth recalling that Netflix officially announced the adaptation of The Witcher back in May 2017. Filming for the first season began in the fall of 2018, with Henry Cavill stepping in front of the camera in Budapest as Geralt of Rivia nearly seven years ago. Later, the production moved to the United Kingdom, and in the last two seasons, Liam Hemsworth has taken over the lead role.

In addition, it has been revealed that Andrzej Sapkowski’s new book from The Witcher universe — Raven’s Crossing — will go on international sale starting September 30, 2025. At the same time, CD Projekt Red is actively developing The Witcher 4.

By the way, the trailer for the fourth season of The Witcher starring Liam Hemsworth was recently released to fans.
