Actor and musician Björn Andresen has died at the age of 71, according to Dagens Nyheter. The actor died in Stockholm. The cause of death has not been reported.
The actor's death was announced by director Christian Petri, who, together with Christina Lindström, filmed a documentary about his life (referring to the film "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World").
As a reminder, the actor achieved great success in 1971 with Lukino Visconti's film "Death in Venice." The Italian film director said then: "Your world is beautiful, a handsome boy."
Christina Lindström's documentary "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World" depicts Andres's life: "Our paths crossed in Stockholm, where I filmed a children's television show with him, and it was very interesting to work together then. For my generation, the title of "the most beautiful boy in the world" was very important. However, I noticed that he didn't want to talk about it."
According to director Christian Petrie, Born Andresen was initially skeptical of the idea of a documentary about his life: "He had an unusual aura and presence in front of the camera. That's what I'm thinking about the most. All the wonderful moments spent with him. He was a brave man."
