He was also fined five million rubles and found guilty of 113 episodes of fraud. The damage caused in his case exceeded 57 million rubles.
Millionaire blogger and business coach Ayaz Shabutdinov was detained in Moscow on November 3, 2023, and sent to a pre-trial detention center. According to the investigation's version, Shabutdinov and his associates (including through the company "Like Center") sold courses that gave buyers "false hopes of creating a successful business and receiving excess income."
In the course of the case, Shabutdinov initially did not admit his guilt, but later admitted his mistake. In his words, he stated that "I am ready to work wholeheartedly to restore trust." He also apologized to everyone for the excessive expectations placed on his educational programs. He said that during his time in pre-trial detention, he had the opportunity to deeply reflect on his mistakes.
In February 2024, it became known that seven more criminal cases of fraud were initiated against Shabutdinov.
