Formula 1 sequel with Brad Pitt officially in development

In an interview with BBC News, project producer Jerry Brookheimer said the creators have officially begun working on a sequel to the "Formula-1" film starring Brad Pitt.
According to Brookheimer, the script is currently under development. He noted that both the plot and concept ideas, as well as the cast, are being actively discussed.
Previously, there were rumors that the film could be continued due to its success, but now it can be considered confirmed information.
The "Formula-1" film, released last summer, grossed $630 million worldwide, making it Apple Original Films' most successful release. This year, he is nominated for the "Oscar" in the "Best Film" category.
The plot revolves around 62-year-old veteran racer Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), who returns to the Formula 1 starting range with the team after a long absence. The film was directed by Joseph Kosinski and co-produced by seven-time world champion racer Lewis Hamilton.
