One of Turkey's famous singers, Ibrahim Tatlises, on April 7 was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Istanbul due to sudden illness at his home. According to reports, the 74-year-old artist was admitted to the intensive care unit, and his condition is currently serious; hospital specialists are keeping him under constant supervision.
It became known that after tours abroad, Tatlises returned home to rest, but his condition unexpectedly worsened. As a precaution, following rapid ambulance intervention, medical examinations, blood tests, and tomography data, he was admitted to intensive care. The hospital's chief doctor Engin Cakmak stated: "The patient's heart and lung functions are normal, overall condition stable."
Another complicated aspect is the father-son relationship. Due to a court-issued restraining order and an electronic ankle bracelet, Ahmad Tatlises cannot visit his father and is forced to wait for news at a mosque 3 kilometers from the hospital. This shows how deep the disagreements between father and son are.
The conflict between Ibrahim Tatlises and Ahmad Tatlises has lasted several years. The main reason is financial: the singer accused his son of mismanaging company funds and seeking to become a partner in the property. Long court proceedings regarding homes in Bodrum and other real estate worsened the situation.
Additionally, Ibrahim Tatlises has publicly expressed harsh opinions about Ahmad. Consequently, Ahmad Tatlises criticizes his father's mental state and his attitude toward family members. Currently, father and son do not trust each other: Ibrahim relies on other children and close assistants for decisions, while Ahmad remains an excluded family member.
Recently, the Istanbul family court issued a restraining order against Ahmad Tatlises due to potential danger in the father-son relationship. This measure ensures peace and safety for the singer and family members, but the father-son relationship remains complicated.
